This contemporary style mountain chalet is a great Lake Tahoe vacation home.

The floor plan is perfect for the social group with a large kitchen, dining area with table that seats 10 and sunken living room complete with gas stove and satellite TV.

The entire house is newly furnished. Enjoy a quiet sunrise with morning coffee or afternoon BBQs on the roomy back deck.

The two lofts, one above the master and one above the main living area, are a great place for kids to crash or settle down in front of a movie. The private hot tub on the back deck is the icing on the cake and a perfect way to relax after a day of outdoor adventure.

National Forest hiking/biking trails are an easy walk from the house. Kayak rentals, boat rental, bike rentals, and mini golf are nearby. Short drive to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Northstar.

We had the pleasure of staying at Jeff's Mountain Chalet for a weekend in September and really enjoyed it! I had been there many times before in the winter time but it's amazing how nice it is there also during the summer. And Tahoe Getaways made it very easy all around.

Jeffs mt. chalet is older and no worries with small kids ruining anything. It could be alittle cleaner, rugs very dirty and windows and sills dirty. The back deck needs some repair so small kids don't fall through. The kitchen is stocked very well and plenty of towels to go around. All in all it is great for multiply families and we will stay again.

This is our third stay at Jeff's--we come back every summer because it's affordable,hassle-free,and stocked with all the house-stuff we need. Plus the location amidst the pines, and fronting miles of hiking and biking trails is great.

Jeff's Chalet was amazing and so much better than we expected. We have stayed at other rental properties and have always been underwhelmed. Not the case with Tahoe Getaways. They were so easy to work with and everything was taken care of before we arrived. No worries once we got to the house...only pure bliss!

i thought the rental service was easy and efficient to use. i enjoyed the home and it was perfect that we could bring small dogs. i thought the location of the house was fantastic, as a lot of snowshoeing hikes were close by for the people that weren't snowboarding. however, the roads in that neighborhood were not cleaned very well and led to quite a few stressful departures and arrivals. it wasn't easy putting on chains to leave the neighborhood, only to take them off when we arrived on the main hwy. the amenities were great, the hot tub was new and worked very well. we appreciated the ease of use with the cover on the hot tub. the kitchen was stocked very well with condiments and extra supplies! actually the entire house was stocked very well. the house is a bit older so, the design is a little awkward. the sunken living room is very cozy, but we had to set up barriers so someone wouldn't fall in by accident. the bathroom location was a bit odd as it faced out into the dining room and living room?! probably would have been more private if it was attached to the bedroom. we were unclear about the snowplow situation, so the driveway was very icy and we had to shovel snow a few times when we were there. we loved the remote location of the home in a very quiet neighborhood. we appreciated the great $ deal we got on the house as it was quite affordable. we also thought the house was stocked really well in the kitchen and bathrooms. well done!

The place was great and spacious. We had great meals, enjoyed the hot tub and went for a awesome hike down near Emerald Bay on Saturday. Tahoe Getaways was real easy to deal with, everything went very smoothly.
